With a minimum advantage after winning the first leg against CD Ebro (1-2), this coming Tuesday the Copa del Rey returns to Mestalla (7:30 pm) before the vital LaLiga match against Sevilla FC on Saturday (16 : 15 h). The only goal is to qualify for the round of 16 in a date that can mean a new opportunity in the Cup to see young talents.

In recent years, the first round of the tournament has been used by the Valencia CF coaches for the debut of players from the VCF Academy. Players like Ferran TorresGayà, Isco or Paco Alcácer have been some of those who have debuted with the first team in the first round of the Cup in recent years, an added incentive to attend the Camp de Mestalla next Tuesday.

Already in the first leg Marcelino gave Kang In and Alex Blanco the chance to participate. Last season the chosen one was Ferran Torres, with only 17 years old. In the 70th minute of the match, the midfielder of Foios came out on the pitch replacing Nacho Gilwith the number "33" on his back that is framed in his house. Undoubtedly, a unique moment, as previously lived in the 2015.16 season against Barakaldo CF Ibrahim Diallo, Wilfried Zahibo or Fran Villaba; in the course of 2012.13 Pellegrino gave the opportunity to José Luis Gayà and Salva Ruiz before the UE Llagostera - Costa Brava; and in 2010.11 Unai Emery opted for the debut at the Camp de Mestalla of the talents Paco Alcácer or Isco in the duel against the UD Logroñés.
