Inspired by the Tour de France and the amazing views in Switzerland, members of the Valencia CF coaching staff and medical team got their cycling gear on for a Sunday ride at Cry d’Er, which has an altitude of some 2.2km.
In a repeat of last year's route, and with Marcelino leading the way, the participants made a 12.59km ascent in the Swiss Alps, setting off from Crans-Montana.
After pushing themselves and also having fun on the climb, the group posed for a photo at the end of their cycling exploits. There was no yellow jersey to be won, but the rewards for the players were some spectacular scenery, a test of their fitness and further bonding.
