FCC Construcción begins interior architecture work at Nou Mestalla
This phase, initially planned for late May, has been brought forward by more than a month
Valencia CF's visit to the Camp Nou is drawing closer, with the team facing the reigning LaLiga champions on their home turf. It is a daunting fixture, but not one that the players will approach with fear: They drew twice against the Catalan side last season, and also managed to beat them in the Copa del Rey final at the Benito Villamarin.
Only VCF and Athletic Club took points from Barça in both league meetings last term. In the case of Marcelino's men, the first encounter -at Mestalla- ended 1-1. The return fixture at the Camp Nou saw Kevin Gameiro and Dani Parejo score in a 2-2 draw.
Victory is the focus for this Saturday, when Valencia CF travel back to the Catalan capital looking to extend their unbeaten run against their Matchday 4 opponents. The game is the feature attraction of the day, and gets underway at 9pm local time.
