Diego López: prestigious ambassador for the IV Valencia CF Academy World Cup
Valencia CF training ground to host U12 players from America, Asia, and Europe in June
Valencia CF celebrated their 102nd anniversary earlier this month, and in recent weeks the VCF Escoles programme has helped the next generation of Valencianistas to learn more about the club's history.
This has been done with the 37 affiliated schools that make up the project, who showed children a video reviewing moments from Valencia CF's past. They were then tested with timelines on different aspects of history.
The activity consisted of 3 timelines that allowed participants to place club legends in their respective positions, and also great moments and trophies achieved in chronological order. General History, VCF Idols and Trophies were three themes, but there was also a chance to learn additional information about each milestone, player or moment featured.
With the VCF Escoles project, the VCF Academy aims to achieve a two objectives: The recruitment and training of young talents for the VCF Academy throughout the Valencia region and Murcia, as well as the promotion and dissemination of the social and sporting image of the club.
