Two more VCF Academy players join first team training

It is habitual for the Valencia CF first team to be joined by members of the VCF Academy for training sessions, but this aspect of everyday life at the club has been slightly modified by the new measures in place in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Young talents are gradually returning to the fold, however, and on Thursday a further two players formed part of the group.
VCF Mestalla captain Adrián Guerrero and Juvenil A skipper Pablo Gozálbez were the latest two to train with the team, joining the likes of Vicente Esquerdo, Hugo Guillamón, Hugo González, Javi Jiménez and Guillem Molina.
Coach Albert Celades has frequently brought these players up for training, and some have even been included in Champions League game squads. Esquerdo made his official debut last November against Villarreal CF at Mestalla in LaLiga, whilst Guillamón did likewise at Anoeta against Real Sociedad at Anoeta.
Members of the first team squad who have come up from the VCF Academy are Jaume Domènech, Cristian Rivero, José Luis Gayà, Jaume Costa, Carlos Soler, Kang In and Ferran Torres.
