Valencia CF Academy gets recognition at a sports gala

Valencia CF U19 visited Lille Olympique Sporting Club U19 for Matchday 3 of the UEFA Youth League at Area de Luchin at 2 pm kick-off time where they will try to get their opening win of the competition.
Valencia CF U19 had a quiet start to the game in the opening minutes. The first chance fell to Alemañ Serna over the 10-minute mark but his shot went off target VCF were slowly growing into the game and having more possession. Two minutes later, Noah Ndombasi flashed it over the bar following a Musah Yunus solo move.
Lille Olympique Sports Club U19 got themselves in front against the run of play through a Fatar header following a Mouaddib cross on 20 minutes following a counter-attack by the French side.
Valencia CF U19 refused to back down and had decent chances in the manner of Musah Yunus who had a shot blocked and scoffed one over the bar before the half-time whistle. VCF U19 went in trailing by 1-0 at half-time despite dominating both in chances and possession.
Miguel Ángel Angulo’s side came out in the second half looking to turn it around. Hugo González saw an early chance deflected behind for a corner kick by Bangoura It was one-way traffic in attack, so much so that Angulo shuffled his pack by making a triple substitution Xavi Estacio, Jesús Vázquez and José Contell came on to provide a spark up front.
Jesús Vázquez nearly caught out LOSC with a powerful shot that went narrowly off target. Miguel Ángel Angulo introduced Ferran Giner to try and find a way through the resolute LOSC U19 defence who were sitting back and protecting their 1-0 lead.
Both sides were reduced to ten men in quick succession deep into stoppage time and the game finished 1-0 to LOSC U19 who will visit the Antonio Puchades on the 5th of November at 2 pm kick-off time on Matchday 4in the UEFA Youth League.

UEFA Youth League Matchday 3 group stage H played on Wednesday at 2 pm at the Area de Luchin, Lille in front of around 800 spectators in attendance.
