Valencia CF, a benchmark in the visit of the main Liga MX clubs to Spain to learn about 'best practices' through LaLiga
Executives from 10 Mexican clubs learn first-hand about the Club's work in game operations, commercial strategy, academy, and communication and content strategies
Valencia CF has been one of the clubs of reference in the visit of executives from the main clubs of Liga MX to Spain to learn about 'best practices' from LaLiga and its clubs.
In an action organized by LaLiga in collaboration with La Liga MX as a result of the synergies between the two competitions and LaLiga's ambitious policy of international expansion, representatives from different areas of Atlas FC, Atlético de San Luis, Santos Laguna, Club Atlético La Paz, Pachuca, Toluca, Rayados de Monterrey, Mazatlán FC, América and Club Tijuana have visited Mestalla, LaLiga's most historic stadium in the year of its centenary.
The representatives of the Mexican clubs were able to learn firsthand through presentations by various Valencia CF employees how the Club works in different areas, such as match operations, commercial strategy and sponsorship, the international academy program, international expansion and communication strategies, content and entertainment on all types of platforms.
Javier Solís, corporate director and spokesperson for Valencia CF, was in charge of welcoming the Mexican club executives, who took the Mestalla Forever Tour to discover all the secrets of the stadium with the help of the VCF Foundation's Historical Heritage department in a special tour in which they were able to learn about the Club's special relationship with Mexico through an exhibition of historical objects.
Mexico, besides being a key country in the Club's internationalization strategy, is a country that has been very present in our history. From the figure of Octavio Augusto Milego, first president and one of the founders of the Club who emigrated to Mexico, where he raised his family, to the two tours full of history that the team made in the country in 1963 and 1966, where Valencia CF became the first team to score a goal at the Azteca Stadium, or the more recent visit, 20 years ago, to play a friendly against Toluca at the Nemesio Diez.
