Valencia CF and CEU UCH promote training in the communications sector
The club and the university sign a collaboration agreement that opens the door for communications students
Valencia CF and University CEU Cardenal Herrera have signed a collaboration agreement that reinforces their mutual commitment to promoting training in the field of communications and the values of sport.
The event was held at the VIP Box at Mestalla and attended by representatives of the CEU UCH such as the rector, Vicente Navarro de Luján, the dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Communication Sciences, Elías Durán de Porras, and vice-dean of Journalism, Anunciación Ramírez Queralt. They were received by Valencia CF representatives led by president, Anil Murthy, executive director, Joey Lim and VCF Foundation director, Teo Swee Wei.
Anil Murthy stated that" Valencia CF want to help the communications ecosystem from a foundation of respect for the principles of the profession and the entity, through this collaboration, and this agreement that we are very happy to sign today with the CEU. We are a big club who want to support the society around us, and boost development."
Navarro de Luján, pointed out that "the support between the two institutions is very important", adding that through this close and meaningful collaboration with Valencia CF "a very broad perspective of horizons is opened up with this agreement".
EMPLOYEES TRAINED AT CEU UCH
This alliance, celebrated with an event attended by numerous VCF MEDIA staff who graduated from CEU UCH, reflects Valencia CF's commitment to teaching professionals. Through this new collaboration agreement with the CEU UCH, the Club opens the door to new opportunities and synergies with the university, and enables students of the courses that encompass the field of communications to continue developing in the VCF MEDIA department.
NEW VCF MEDIA LAB ON THE HORIZON
With the aim of promoting this training programme and contributing to the future of the communications sector by exploring new formats and trends, Valencia CF will open their new VCF Media Lab facilities in the near future. There, the Club will be able to expand and improve innovation in the production of homemade content and, in addition, interns will have the opportunity to train at state-of-the-art facilities.
