Cristhian Mosquera, Javi Guerra and Diego López will compete with Spain's Under-21 side
Valencia CF and the VCF Footballers Association signed a new two-year collaboration agreement this Monday, extending their relationship through to June 30th, 2021. The new deal further strengthens the club's commitment to the association, which represents all players who have worn the Valencia CF shirt over the past 100 years.
Speaking to VCF Media, Valencia CF president Anil Murthy said that “Today is an important day. Today we have decided to grow within our collaboration with the VCF Footballers Association. It is very important for us to help our former players -who during their playing career represented Valencia CF. Today we have increased the amount that the club give directly to them through the association."
The club have increased their direct contribution to former players by 40%, to 50,000 euros per year.
"We have worked very closely with them during our Centenary year, but we have always had the same objectives as the association," continued Murthy. "It's a social project that is very important to us, and we are going to work on it even more."
VCF Footballers Association president Fernando Giner commented that "It is a happy day for us. The contract has been improved and we are pleased to continue with our direct tie to the club. Our ties with Valencia CF have always been positive, and the VCF Footballers Association and the club have to be united."
