2018/18 was a very special season for Valencia CF, both in terms of the commemoration of the club's Centenary and the success achieved on the pitch. On Tuesday, the club received recognition for another positive achievement of the past year: They were awarded the 'Premio Especial 2019' prize from the Valencian Hotel Business Federation (FEHV).
The event was held at the Ateneo Mercantil in the city, and brought together entrepreneurs and professionals from the tourism sector and Valencian hotel industry. Valencia CF were, of course represented, and the award was collected by the club's ambassador Ricardo Arias.
Valencia CF indirectly contribute to the hotel and restaurant sector with the economic impact of thousands of fans coming to Mestalla, both in LaLiga matches and in European competition.
