The Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union's Next Generation funds aims to repair the damage caused by the COVID-19 crisis and thus, through reforms and investments, build a more sustainable future.
Spain will be eligible to receive up to 140 billion euros for reforms and investments between 2021 and 2026.
The Spanish strategy for channeling the funds allocated by Europe consists of 4 cross-cutting axes: ecological transition, digital transformation, social and territorial cohesion and gender equality.
These 4 transversal axes are projected in 10 lever policies. Valencia CF Femenino benefits from lever number 9: Promotion of the culture and sports industry. Specifically from its component 26: Plan for the promotion of the sports sector.
The Plan for the promotion of the sports sector aims to revitalize, restructure and modernize the sports sector, adapting it to the new socioeconomic reality through its digital transformation and adaptation to the ecological transition.
Sport has suffered very directly the consequences of the health emergency, therefore, it is necessary to adopt extraordinary measures for its reactivation as an economic activity.
Valencia CF Femenino, thanks to the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, has already been able to carry out 4 modifications in the Ciutat Esportiva VCF: "Upgrade the changing rooms on pitch C6", "Adaptation of the lighting on pitch 6", "Construction of a platform for people with reduced mobility" and "Adaptation of the lighting on pitch 7".
