Rodrigo Moreno scored 'La Roja's opener against Norway on 16 minutes, converting a Jordi Alba cross. Spain eventually won their first Euro 2020 qualifier 2-1, and Rodrigo's strike was his fifth in 16 games for his country.

Dani Parejo also played in the contest, making his first international start. He would enjoy several opportunities to score, as well as seeing plenty of the ball, before being substituted off on 77 minutes.

José Luis Gayà was an unused sub in the game.

Cristiano Piccini played all 90 minutes of Italy's 2-0 victory against Finland at the Dacia Arena in Udine.

Earlier in the day, Ferrán Torres scored twice and provided an assist in the Spain Under-19s side's 5-1 win over Wales Under-19s.

MONDAY, MARCH 25TH

Striking twice for Spain's Under-21s in their friendly against Austria was Carlos Soler, who continued to impress for 'La Rojita.' The VCF midfielder opened the scoring on 52 minutes, then just 9 minutes later hit a spectacular shot into the net for the second of his side's three goals.

“The second goal was for Tico, the physio, who had wrapped up my ankle and said that he'd put an extra wrap on as I was going to score. That's why I dedicated it to him, and I'm very happy," he said after the game.

Soler will now return to Valencia to prepare for the game against Sevilla FC
