Valencia CF part of LALIGA EA SPORTS agreement to regulate away ticket prices

Valencia CF have signed an agreement with 14 other LALIGA EA SPORTS clubs to regulate the price and number of tickets available in away sections. The initiative also includes the improvement, based on the principle of reciprocity, of the conditions for the club's fans at other stadiums around Spain.
This agreement was promoted by LALIGA and Valencia CF were one of the first to sign. It establishes that a minimum of 300 tickets for each match will be available to members or supporters of the visiting club, set at a maximum price of 30 euros.
The idea, already implemented in the current LALIGA HYPERMOTION by LALIGA and Aficiones Unidas campaign, had a working group made up of five clubs since its inception: Athletic Club, Real Betis, Sevilla FC, Valencia CF and Real Valladolid. They laid the foundations of the agreement.
Other participants alongside the club are Athletic Club, FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla FC, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Cádiz CF, RCD Mallorca, Deportivo Alavés, Girona FC, Granada CF, UD Las Palmas, Getafe CF and UD Almería.
Javier Solís, Valencia CF Corporate Director, says: “Today we understand football as a global spectacle that goes beyond the game itself. Anything that encourages fans of other teams to come to the city of Valencia and vice-versa is good for local commerce in terms of the hotel, leisure and restaurant industries. We understand that it is a good measure for the clubs and the cities."
Óscar Mayo, CEO of LALIGA, also expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative.
“We are proud that we can inaugurate this new brand with an agreement like this. Facilitating and promoting sports tourism is one of LALIGA's main motivations, and being able to take this agreement to the highest level is a luxury and a source of excitement. Today there are 15 clubs, hopefully in the future there will be 20."
