Vallejo all smiles in solo training

Manu Vallejo has been all smiles since Valencia CF have been permitted to train again, something the Andalusian striker has been awaiting eagerly over the past few months. Reuniting with the club's fitness coach and able to converse with teammates Rodrigo Moreno and Kevin Gameiro from the required distance on Wednesday, he was as cheerful as ever in the squad's latest batch of individual training sessions.
The former Cadiz standout has been anticipating the return for longer than most, given that the unplanned break in the season came just when was on the comeback trail from an injury that had sidelined him thus far in 2020.
Now fully recovered, Vallejo is unhindered in the routiine of fitness work and ball drills under the guidance of Albert Celades, and has been working on shooting, one-twos and passes -albeit in solitary conditions.
When LaLiga comes back, 11 games await, and Vallejo is keen to make a late impact in the 2019/20 season when the time comes.
