Baraja: "We want to dedicate the victory to the victims and those affected by the 'DANA'"
The coach previews the game against Real Betis
In the friendly against CD Castellón, several players on the books at teams within the VCF Academy got an unofficial run-out with the first team -with whom they have been training on a regular basis.
The majority had already featured for the team in previous friendlies in recent years, but for Yunus Musah it was his first time experiencing minutes with the senior squad.
The 17-year-old began on the right wing, switching to the left side in the second half, and a combination of his versatility and durability meant that coach Javi Gracia kept him on for the full 90 minutes.
Vicente Esquerdo, who played several times at the end of last season, accompanied Uros Racic in the midfield and was put in charge of set pieces. His role was occupied by Koba Koindredi in the second half, and the substitute hit the crossbar with a free kick in his best chance of the game.
Also getting an opportunity was centre back Guillem Molina, whose last minutes for the first team had come two years ago. He was solid alongside Hugo Guillamón in the core of the defence, and also hit the woodwork when he headed the ball against the post.
