Valencia CF Academy gets recognition at a sports gala

VCF Juvenil A will kick off this Wednesday, November 3rd the Al Abtal International Cup title defence. An International tournament that sees the participation of representatives from Spain Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid Real Sociedad and Valencia CF, England (Liverpool FC), Portugal (Sporting Club Portugal), France (Olympique Marseille), Poland (Legia Warsaw), Croatia (Dinamo Zagreb), Denmark (FC Midtjylland), Czech Republic (Slavia Prague), Ukraine, (Shakhtar Donest) and Saudi Arabia the organising country through its Sports Ministry.
VCF Juvenil A will debut this Wednesday, November 3rd against Green Future Falcons of Saudi Arabia on the opening day of the tournament which will be running from November to June with the first group stage coming to a close in March and the final stage in June.
VCF Juvenil A have been placed in the Mediterranean group alongside Dinamo ZagrebOlympique Marseille, Real Sociedad, Green Falcons and White Falcons. José Bargues’ side will play all their group stage game in midweek in Tarragona.
Title defence
The VCF Academy defend the title they won last season which took place between March and April 2021 where VCF Juvenil beat Atletico Madrid in the final by a 2-1 scoreline following a brilliant run in the tournament.
División de Honor pace-setters
José Bargues’ side will combine their presence in the Al Abtal International Cup with their domestic competition División de Honor Juvenil where they registered a 5-0 home win over Talavera de La Reina. They are the current league leaders with eight wins and one draw and only two against.
