VCF Foundation make 50 apartments available to healthcare workers

Valencia CF, through the VCF Foundation, have made some 50 apartments in the centre of the city available to the Generalitat Valenciana regional government. These apartments, which are fully equipped for immediate use, will be used by healthcare personnel who continue to fight against the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
The initiative has the collaboration of first team coach Albert Celades, who will cover the maintenance and energy costs of the 50 apartments.
The buildings are located in the Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas area of Valencia. They will be used by doctors and other healthcare professionals who need accomodation close to their places of work, in order to facilitate shift timings and protect their families from any possible contagion.
Generalitat president, Ximo Puig, thanked the club for their support, as he did previously for the donation of healthcare material by VCF majority shareholder Peter Lim. Puig emphasised the "great generosity" of Valencian society, and the importance of "unity in action" to combat the pandemic.
