“We play for you, Valencia”
Cristhian Mosquera, Javi Guerra and Diego López will compete with Spain's Under-21 side
Valencia CF's victory against Girona in LaLiga this past weekend means that the team are in their best form of the season, just in time for a crucial UEFA Europa League meeting with FC Krasnodar on Thursday (6:55pm CET).
Marcelino's men have put together a run of four consecutive wins for the first time this season, and are unbeaten in 13 games in all competitions (LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the Europa League). A continuation of this streak would take them into the quarter finals of the European tournament.
Their Russian opponents are one of the strongest sides in the competition at home, having won 2-1 on three occasions in the Group Stage. As well as their wins against Sevilla FC, Standard Liege and Akhisar, they have also drawn 0-0 at home against Bayer Leverkusen, whom they ousted from the Europa League at the Last 16 stage.
