VCF Juvenil A see off Torre Levante to go top of the table (3-2)

Hard fought home win over Torre levante sees VCF Juvenil A as table-toppers with one fixture left to play in the first group stage.

VCF Juvenil A boast a sparkling run of form with nine wins and two draws from 11 matchdays.

The game saw a hard-fought contest, albeit it swung VCF Juvenil A’s favour thanks to Fabio Blanco’s early strike and a further two from Bashiru. M and Javi Navarro to extend their lead over the half-hour mark.

Alas, Torre Levante reduced the deficit before the break which gave them a lifeline back into the game.

 Miguel Ángel Angulo’s side continued to dominate thoughout the second half despite’s Torre Levante’s second goal on the counter-attack to get back into the contest.

VCF Juvenil A managed the game and even enjoyed further chances in the closing minutes which would have put the game to bed. VCF Juvenil A managed to hold out to take all three points.

VCF Juvenil A edged out Torre Levante by 3-2 in their postponed game which dates back to matchday 10 of grup VII-B in Divisón de Honor. With this victory Miguel Ángel Angulo’s side go top of the table with one fixture left to play in the first group stage of the season.

VCF Juvenil A go top of the table on 41 points and leapfrog Villarreal CF and Levante UD on 38 with one game in hand.VCF Juvenil A will meet Levante UD A whereas Villarreal CF will take on Torre Levante A. Kick-off times are yet to be confirmed by the RFEF.
