VCF Mestalla nearly made it 0-2 in the second half through Hugo González, who hit the post. Shortly after, FC Barça B equalised with a shot from outside the area by Ilias, who went on to score a second from a direct free kick.
With the score against VCF Mestalla, they looked for a draw, increasing their presence in the opposition area in the final minutes. A clear penalty on Gozálbez was not given in their favour late on.
VCF Mestalla will continue their preseason on Friday, August 12th at 8pm, against CD Castellón at the Antonio Puchades.
