VCF Academy Programs participants help DANA recovery efforts
The collaborators contribute with messages of support and aid
The entire Ciudad Deportiva family met at Mestalla last week, to set out the values that make up the philosophy of the VCF Academy when training of players.
"It is a very special occasion to bring all our colleagues all together to our 'temple' to present the values that define the VCF Academy" said Sean Bai, General Director of the VCF Academy.
“We spend a lot of time together, from the kitman to management, coaches, players… we share a lot of time together because we have a very important vision and objective. We are committed to our work and to this project, and all of us at the Ciudad Deportiva are like a family,” he stated.
Luis Martínez, Director of Operations of the VCF Academy, expanded on the reasons for the gathering.
“The important thing was to do the exercise of sitting down, reflecting, capturing it, ordering it and generating that DNA. For us it is very important that all the people who work at the VCF Academy have a clear idea of this objective,” he concluded.
The values have been set out in a new 'stamp' logo, which indicates the main areas of work for the academy.
“Values are the energy that moves us and leads us to strive to improve and to want to achieve our objectives. Passion, for example, is an innate part reflected in loving the game, wanting the ball and how we treat the opposition," added Marco Otero, Technical Director of the VCF Academy,
The project is already underway, and every month the teams and coaches will work on one of the values and concepts, in order for it to be developed and reflected on the field of play. This December, the first value to work on is humility, within the global concept of Brotherhood.
