The Valencia CF coach speaks ahead of the match against Real Madrid CF
Yunus Musah scored his first official goal for Valencia CF against Getafe CF on Matchday 8, at the age of 17 years and 338 days, In doing so, he became the club's youngest scorer of the 21st century, overtaking teammate Kang In.
Musah is now the second youngest in history of the club to find the net in an official match, and is only surpassed by Juan Mena, who in the 1940s scored his first goal at the age of 17, 1 month and 5 days.
Musah scored in style to boot: He picked up the ball and rushed some 70 metres towards the opposition penalty area, before driving a shot at pace into the net. The right footed strike was the finishing touch to a wonderful display of the player's capabilities.
With his goal, he surpassed other historical players in the ranking of the youngest men to score for Valencia CF, such as Fernando Gómez Colomer: The player with the most official appearances in the club's history, and his first goal at the age of 18, 6 months and 15 days.
