Sergi Canós spoke to VCF Media at the conclusion of the 2-2 draw against Real Madrid in LaLiga.
The result
In the dressing room we are not happy; because of what happened with Diakhaby and because Real Madrid tied a game in which we gave everything, and in which everyone here at Mestalla gave everything as well. We had a wonderful first half, but we were left with a bad taste in our mouths with a draw. A point against Real Madrid always has to be considered good, and we will do very well in the coming games.
I want to thank Mestalla for their support. They gave their all for us today and were fantastic.
The team wanting more
When you are in the dressing room, you have drawn against Real Madrid, you played the way we played and you see that people want more, it makes you proud. The team want more. The team want to win and want the fans to enjoy themselves, come to Mestalla and for it to be their best day of the week.
A great atmosphere
I have no words to describe it. It was spectacular. I have never experienced such an atmosphere. It was fantastic.
Supporting Diakhaby
There are people in the dressing room almost crying when they see a teammate like that. Now there is nothing we can do to encourage him. The only thing we can do is show that off the field we are a family, and help Diakhaby with everything he needs. We will be here as if we were his family.
The tribute for those who suffered in the fire in Valencia
We were very motivated to try to give them a victory on this sad day, because of everything that has happened. Therefore, we have this feeling of having been able to achieve the three points and dedicate the victory to them. But it wasn't to be. I think the point is valuable and all of Valencia has come through with this whole situation. We have to be very proud of where we are from.
PRIDE
Both off the field in the city and here at Mestalla, we are an example of how the world should be.
Ambition
We must make the point count in the coming games. We have to take a step forward with that ambition that we see in the dressing toom. We have to show that in the next few games, on the pitch.
