A step forward

We're left wanting more, but that is also good news. The point gives the impression of being a poor return for our efforts, but I think you have to start from there. You have to walk before you can run. I am happy for the team, because they gave everything. We have ended up exhausted, which is the least this team needs to win. We tried and we have to keep going.

An intense effort

There are days when you give 100% and the ball doesn't go in, and that's how it was today. Just like how on other days I have been critical of the team, today I have little to criticise. Pepelu finished the game when he couldn't walk, Thierry went forward so many times... This is the way.

Looking for goals

I think that with the ball we can ask for more or less of ourselves. But the team is what it is, our virtues are what they are. We can never negotiate on intensity. It is clear that when we are lacking a little bit, we don't get it. Today the team could do little more. Villarreal had a first shot at us and they scored. We tried from dead balls, and I I think there were fifteen corners for us. There is little more we can do.
