This morning, Valencia CF has formally requested the Spanish Football Federation to postpone the match against CP Parla Escuela-Fair Play, which was set to take place this Wednesday, November 6th, at 19:00, in Estadio Las Américas. This match is part of the first round of the 2024 Copa del Rey.
The Club believes that, during this difficult time, all focus, support, and efforts should be directed toward helping those affected by the tragic DANA storm. Football takes a back seat in such circumstances.
We would like to express our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families, friends, and loved ones of those who have lost their lives and those affected by this catastrophe that has left us devastated.
Since Tuesday, Valencia CF has been available to assist the authorities and affected municipalities in any way possible.
