Hugo Duro gets into Valencia CF goalscorers’ top 3 of the last decade

The Valencia CF striker racks up LaLiga 12 goals to his tally netting one of every two shots on target.

Valencia CF’s forward has entered the Valencia CF top `3’ goalscorers’ chart of the last decade (2014). The Valencia CF striker has 12 goals to his LaLiga goalscoring account boasting a 55% effectiveness in front of goal.

The Valencia CF player is having the best goalscoring season and besides the goals he is synonymous with grit, desire and commitment. He contests every ball as though it is the last kick of the game and that work-rate is paying off.

The Madrid-born forward is the team’s leading goalscorer and lies third in the Zarra trophy chart.

His winning goal against Getafe CF  helped him to climb up to the third place in Valencia CF's goalscorers' chart of the last decade.

A list led by Rodrigo Moreno (16 goals in the 2017-18 campaign) and Simone Zaza and Paco Alcácer (13 goals in the 2017-18 and 2015-16 campaigns, respectively). Hugo Duro has managed those 12 goals (4 left-footed, 4 right-footed and 4 headed) from 22 shots, an effectiveness of 55%.

His great performance has helped Valencia CF continue their positive run of form at Mestalla -stretching back to the 27 September without defeat at Valencia CF's home ground in LALIGA- and thus occupy eighth place in LALIGA with 40 points from 27 games played.
