III VCF Academy Elite Camp a success

A selection of players chosen from the different VCF Academy Programs in America, Asia and Europe have participated in the III VCF Academy Elite Camp, with the objective of sharing knowledge and attracting international talent.

In addition to training, the participants played friendly matches against a VCF Escoles team, were given strength sessions in the gym and team building activities, and enjoyed the city of Valencia with visits to Malvarrosa beach and Mestalla. They were also able to take in the different events at the VCF Academy World Cup, which took place in parallel to the VCF Elite Camp.

The participants were players who have been monitored throughout the season at the different VCF Academies that Valencia CF run in America, Asia and Europe, as well as at the multiple Training Experiences and clubs for which Valencia CF are a Technical Partner.

One of the previous success stories is Erik Hamza, from the VCF Academy Greece, who participated in the first edition of the VCF Academy Elite Camp, and ended up joining the VCF Juvenil B team who last season were crowned champions in their league.

The VCF Academy Elite Camp is part of the VCF Academy Programs that Valencia CF develops in strategic markets in America, Asia and Europe that help expand the Valencia CF brand and what its colors symbolize worldwide. This Internationalization Strategy has been a finalist in the World Football Summit Awards 2023.

The VCF Academy Programs include different activities such as VCF Soccer Camps, international alliances, technical consulting, the VCF Academy World Cup, the VCF Academy Coaches Convention... multiple activities that in 2023 involved more than 5000 players and 400 coaches from more than 50 countries around the world who were able to learn more about the playing methodology of the VCF Academy, the fourth best in Europe in the training of players to compete at the elite level, according to the October report of the CIES Football Observatory.
