Valencia CF have received confirmation of the postponement of our LALIGA EA Sports Matchday 12 match against Real Madrid, initially scheduled for this Saturday, November 2nd, due to the severity of the DANA natural disaster that has left numerous fatalities and damage in the Valencia region
At this difficult time, we wish to convey our deepest condolences and support to the families and friends of the deceased, and all those affected by this catastrophe which has put football into the background.
Since Tuesday, Valencia CF have been at the disposal of the authorities and municipalities affected to help in any way possible.
The club appreciate the commendable work of the emergency services, as well as the understanding of LALIGA, the Royal Spanish Football Federation, CP Parla Escuela – Fair Play and Real Madrid, who have shown full sensitivity in postponing our matches in light of the serious consequences of this emergency.
This weekend's VCF Academy competitions are also postponed, while in national competitions Valencia CF have requested the postponement of this Sunday's match between VCF Mestalla and Torrent CF in Group III of the Segunda Federacion.
VCF Femenino also requested the postponement of the first team and reserve team games, both scheduled for this weekend, in Valencia and Gran Canaria respectively. They have to date received official confirmation of the postponement of the reserve team match.
In line with the 3 days of mourning declared by the Spanish Government, the men's first team, VCF Femenino and VCF Mestalla observed a minute of silence at training on Thursday. The club have kept the flags at half-mast at their facilities.
*In the next few days, Valencia CF will contact fans who bought tickets for the match against Real Madrid.

-Avoid going out on the road, do not put yourself in danger. In many areas, even if it does not rain, there is an accumulation of water. Most roads are closed or flooded and the emergency services need the roads clear to work.
