Representatives from the Generalitat Valenciana visit the Nou Mestalla construction site

They observed the technical progress of what will become the new home of Valencia CF in the summer of 2027

Representatives from the Generalitat Valenciana visited the Nou Mestalla construction site to tour the stadium's infrastructure and witness firsthand the technical progress being made on the project.

“The first impression was inspiring, allowing us to directly understand the ownership's plans, which are already being executed with the contractor. We were able to perceive the technical and quality specifications of a stadium that we hope to enjoy in 2027 and attend top-level matches,” stated Secretary of State Antonio Galvañ.

Javier Solís, General Director of Valencia CF, together with Christian Schneider, Director of Operations and Infrastructure, and representatives from FCC Construcción—the company in charge of completing the Nou Mestalla—provided updates on the project’s status to Antonio Galvañ, Andrés Lluch (General Director of Labor for the Generalitat Valenciana), and several professionals from the Valencian Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (INVASSAT).

“From the Generalitat Valenciana, we fully support this project because both Valencia CF and its surroundings are iconic for the city and the Valencian Community. It’s a large-scale project with complex technical aspects. Regarding occupational risk prevention, we have complete collaboration from both the GVA and Invassat, which will be fully available to the contractor and ownership to resolve any prevention-related matters,” added Galvañ.

As of today, FCC Construcción is carrying out interior architectural work, and in the coming phases, contracts will be awarded for the metal structure and roof construction, with assembly beginning in the workshop. In the following months, stair towers will also be installed, further solidifying the progress of the project.
