VALENCIA CF AND THE SIX NATIONS

Valencia CF are one of the few topflight Spanish teams to have played in all six countries against football sides from each country featuring in the annual and upcoming household rugby tournament:

England: 

Valencia CF played at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea FC in 2019 in the UEFA Champions League which saw a 0-1 Valencia CF win.

 Two years later, Valencia CF played a summer friendly at Meadow against Nottingham Forest  Lane which saw a 1-1 draw.

Valencia CF have also played in other archetypal English Football ground like the Emirates Stadium, the Amex, the Vitality Stadium, Old Trafford, Anfield Road, Elland Road, The Ethihad, Highbury, City Ground, The Community Stadium, The King Power Stadium, the Britannia Stadium etc.

Scotland:

Valencia CF have played in Glasgow at the iconic Celtics Park also known as Parkhead or Paradise against Glasgow Celtic which saw a  0-2 Valencia CF win.

Valencia CF have played at Ibrox Park too against the crosstown side Glasgow Rangers in the UEFA Champions League where Valencia came away with a 1-2 victory over Glasgow Rangers with Gaizka Mendieta and Claudio López on target for Valencia CF. 

Valencia CF have also played against Hibernian FC in Edinburgh at Easter Road twice at the old Fairs Cup.Valencia CF have also played against Dunfermline AFC at East End Park at the Fairs Cup.

Wales: 

Valencia CF have faced Swansea FC at the Liberty Stadium in the group stage of the Europa League which ended in a 0-1 win for Valencia CF Dani Parejo on target. Valencia CF have also played in the Welsh capital at the Cardiff City Stadium in preseason with a 0-2 win for Valencia CF thanks to goals from Nikola Zigik and Joaquín Sánchez.

 Ireland:

Valencia CF have played in the Emerald Isle to play against Cork Hbernians in the last 32 of the  Fairs Cup with a convincing 0-3 win for Valencia CF with Pepe Claramunt at the double and Fernando Barrachina rounding off the scoreline at Flower Lodge.

Valencia CF have also played in Dublin against Irish Football powerhouse Shamrock Rovers in the Fairs Cup which finished in a 0-1 Valencia CF win at Daylmount Park with Andrés Suco netting the winning goal for Valencia CF.

Valencia CF have played against the Northern Irish side Crusaders Football Club and Athletic from Belfast in the Cup Winners Cup at the Oval in a game which saw a 2-4 thriller with a Paquito García treble and Fernando Ansola on target.

France:

Valencia CF have played 43 times against French sides like the likes of PSG at Parc Des Princes, Toulouse, Lille OSC, Olympique Lyonnais, Girondins Bordeaux, and Montpellier HSC FC Seté amongst others.  

 Italy:

Valencia CF have faced  Atalanta BC, Juventus, Inter Milan, Lecce, AS Roma, Genova, AS Fiorentina Pisa Caliccio and many others on Italian soil in the club’s history.
