From ciutat esportiva to the world cup in qatar
Now firmly established in the senior squad and an international for Spain, he began his journey at Valencia CF when he was just 5 years old and moved steadily up the ranks, serving as an inspiration for young players.
“I hope you enjoy your stay in Valencia and football at the Ciudad Deportiva, where I have trained for so many years,” said Guillamón in a video welcoming the participants for the III VCF Academy World Cup.
“For me, it is an honour to be an ambassador for this tournament. Good luck."
A MULTICULTURAL EVENT
This III VCF Academy World Cup follows a small-scale World Cup format and, like previous editions, will feature a large number of teams from the different international projects that Valencia CF run through the VCF Academy Programs. These initiatives help to spread the club brand and values, as part of an Internationalisation Strategy that was a finalist at the World Football Summit Awards in 2023.
VCF ACADEMY PROGRAMS
Last year, more than 5,000 players and 400 coaches from more than 50 countries around the world participated in the different VCF Academy Programs, using the same methodology that has brought success for the senior team.
