52 coaches from different countries delved into the VCF Academy methodology
The 2nd VCF Academy Coaches Convention concluded last weekend, leaving great satisfaction among the 52 coaches who, upon returning to their home countries, take with them a deeper understanding of the VCF Academy methodology and a stronger sense of belonging to continue working in alignment with Valencia CF’s identity.
This second edition of the VCF Academy Coaches Convention was a great success, not only due to the increased number of participating coaches from Canada, the USA, England, Hungary, Italy, Greece, and Cyprus but also due to the greater specificity of the seminars delivered across the two training levels.
The sessions took place at the Media Center of the Ciutat Esportiva de Valencia CF and at the Camp de Mestalla, providing an optimal learning environment for all attendees.

"We’ve really enjoyed the experience because this Level II is more about how to apply things on the field—working based on what we observe and creating tasks in line with Valencia CF’s identity. That’s something I will take back with me to Italy," said Luca Castelli from VCF Academy Programs Italy & Malta, which last summer hosted more than 1,000 children across 20+ VCF Camps in various locations.

The practical application of theoretical training was also a key highlight for VCF Academy Canada.
"For all the coaches who came from Canada to participate in this seminar, it has been a great learning experience because it allowed us to experience the methodology firsthand, from theory to practice on the field," said Diego Bonatto, a coach from VCF Academy Canada, who has been visiting Valencia since 2016.

Meetings at the highest level
For Gabor Takacs, this was his first experience at the Coaches Convention.
"The 2nd VCF Academy Coaches Convention has been an incredible opportunity for everyone to improve and gain a deeper understanding of the VCF Academy methodology and the Valencia CF DNA. It will be very useful to bring this knowledge to our kids in Hungary," said Gabor Takacs, Director of Dinamo Star SE Budapest Powered by Valencia CF.
Big effort
The coaches were also able to enjoy the experience and the city of Valencia, despite the weather alert, which required adjustments to the program.
"It has been an incredible effort by the VCF Academy Programs team and a great commitment from everyone at the VCF Academy to ensure the event went ahead successfully," said Vicente Roch, Technical Director of the VCF Academy Programs.
"When they come here, they connect with each other and realize that we are all truly on the same path, following the VCF Academy methodology under the umbrella and support of Valencia Club de Fútbol," concluded Roch.
