This Friday and Saturday, Valencia CF release the two-part documentary 'Diakhaby: 365 Days Later'. This exclusive audiovisual content, produced over the last year by VCF Media, can be viewed on the club's official YouTube channel.
In it, we see the long journey Valencia CF centre back Mouctar Diakhaby took to returning to action, after the serious knee injury he suffered against Real Madrid on March 2nd, 2024.
Diakhaby was the focus of attention in international football after the injury, the severity of which worried all fans of the sport. However, after hard work, perseverance, and the support of his family, fans, teammates, coaching staff, and club personnel, he was able to return under a year later. This season, he has already played six matches—one of them for the full 90 minutes —and scored a goal. The Valencia CF first team were the first to watch this documentary, alongside Diakhaby himself.
